Terms of service

1. Service

SEOLint provides automated SEO audits via a web interface, CLI tool, MCP server, and REST API. By using the service you agree to these terms.

SEOLint is operated by D. Smidstrup Holding ApS(CVR 45751937), trading as Random Code, Havnegade 12, 3. 1, 5000 Odense C, Denmark. References to “we”, “us”, or “SEOLint” in these terms mean D. Smidstrup Holding ApS.

SEOLint is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. Claude and MCP are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. We integrate with Claude via Anthropic's official API and the open Model Context Protocol.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your API key and login credentials secure. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use

You may only scan URLs that you own or have permission to scan. You may not:

  • Scan sites to find vulnerabilities for exploitation.
  • Resell scan results as your own product without attribution.
  • Exceed your plan's scan limits via automated means.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the scanning engine.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem handles billing, VAT, and payment processing on our behalf. Prices are in EUR or USD as shown at checkout and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page in your dashboard, which opens the Creem customer portal. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are taken.

6. Refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your first purchase. Because SEOLint is a digital service delivered immediately, this right is lost once you start using the service (for example, running a paid scan). If you have not used any paid scans during the 14-day window, email support@seolint.dev and we will issue a full refund.

Outside the EU withdrawal window, subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. You can cancel anytime and will not be charged again. If something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right — contact support and we will review the request on a case-by-case basis.

7. Support

Reach us at support@seolint.dev. We respond to customer requests within 3 business days.

8. Data and privacy

We scan publicly accessible web pages. We store the URL and issues found, not the full page HTML. See our privacy policy for full details on data collection and storage.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Scans depend on external services (Google PageSpeed Insights, target site availability) which are outside our control.

10. Liability

SEOLint is provided “as is”. We are not liable for SEO outcomes, ranking changes, or any business decisions made based on scan results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
