Your Page Title

Your meta description will appear here. Write it like ad copy — lead with the benefit.

Why title and description length matters

Google truncates page titles longer than ~60 characters and meta descriptions longer than ~160 characters. When your text gets cut off, users see an incomplete message — which reduces click-through rate. The title tag is also the strongest on-page ranking signal: the words you include (and their order) directly affect which searches your page appears for.

How to write good meta tags

Title: Put your primary keyword near the front. Keep it under 60 characters. Make it specific — "SEO Audit Tool for Developers" beats "Home".

Description: Write it like ad copy. Lead with the benefit, include a call to action. 120–160 characters is the sweet spot.
